Finding the right Lacrosse Equipment

Finding the right Lacrosse Equipment
I love Lacrosse! I remember once when we were playing without the right equipment and a big defense man and friend of mine took a shoot to the head. It was funny but he blacked out and got a huge welt on his forehead for a week. Ever since, I recommend that you wear the right lacrosse equipment. It can save your life or at least weeks of embarrassment!
After finding the right place (aka http://astore.amazon.com/buylacrosse-20) the first thing you should do is make sure you have the right Lacrosse equipment. When you are first starting out, this can be expensive. My advice is to to get the basics and upgrades as your skills and desire improve. There are several different types of equipment you need including a helmet, gloves, arm guards, shoulder pads, rib pads (optional), mouthpiece and protection for your vitals. The right equipment will protect you and allow you to play your best game.
Your lacrosse helmet, (men’s) protects your head, your forehead and your face. It is the most essential piece of protective lacrosse equipment you will wear. If you like your face, wear it even when you practice. It will echo loudly when you get hit, but it should protect you from any major injuries. Lacrosse Arm guards protect your arm on either side of you elbow. (To be most effective on defense aim for in between the pads.) They are very important but not as important as a helmet or gloves. They can keep you from breaking your arm.
Another piece of essential equipment is lacrosse shoulder pads. They are both for offensive and defensive use. As protective lacrosse equipment it allows you to hit and be hit. These pads are smaller than football pads. They offer easier movement and vital protection for your shoulders and chest.
Also lacrosse gloves are needed. (Click here for information.)
You won’t get to far if you forget your lacrosse stick! Both an offensive and defensive weapon, the stick allows to take away the ball from an opponent and to score. If you are looking for quality lacrosse equipment you will find lots of sticks to choose from here.
